BSc Chemical Engineering and Technology, MSc Chemical Technology, Industrial and Environmental Analysis
Chemicals safety and regulations, cosmetic safety standards and testing, product documentation, toys standards, environmental hazards and pollution
Dominika obtained a Master's (MSc) degree from Cracow University of Technology in Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology in the field of Industrial and Environmental Analytics. Dominika is certified auditor ISO/IEC 17025. During the MSc studies, Dominika received a strong background in the classical analytical chemistry methods, liquid and gas chromatography and the mass spectrometry. Carrying out research and developing the results of her Engineer`s and Master`s theses gave her solid knowledge and good skills in the field of UV-Vis spectroscopy.
While studying Chemical Technology, Dominika broadened her knowledge of basic physical, organic, inorganic, analytical chemistry and the impact of technological processes on the environment, methods for identifying hazards and their prevention.
Dominika also worked in Environmental Protection Laboratory during her studies, becoming familiar with testing procedures associated with safety and harmful factors at the workplace in various industry. She learnt about environmental analysis and sampling and improved skills related to collecting, processing data and solving different problems.
Dominika has several years of extensive experience in assessing the safety of cosmetic products, interpreting laboratory tests and detailed work with chemical and toxicological data. In our team, she supports the Senior Toxicologist and the Regulatory Affairs Manager in the efficient and effective workflow and communication with clients. Dominika works closely with all members of our team and ensures continuous improvement of the tasks performed.

Safety assessor of cosmetic products, Senior specialist for technical and regulatory data of chemical substances
Justyna Rymarz
MSc, BSc Chemical and Process Engineering
Justyna's responsibilities include: safety assessment of cosmetic products, evaluation of product labels, Product Information File and Safety Data Sheets preparation. Daily, as a team member, she is involved in working with technical documentation of raw materials, keeping up to date with regulatory and legal changes regarding chemical substances and cosmetic products, and updating toxicological profiles of chemicals.
Justyna obtained her master's degree (MSc) and bachelor's degree (BSc) in Chemical and Process Engineering from the Cracow University of Technology, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology. Specialization: Technological Process Engineering.
The study program provided technical education, including knowledge in the field of analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, chemical reactor engineering, environmental protection, renewable energy sources and prepared her to solve engineering problems.
Student internship enabled Justyna to put into practice the knowledge gained during her studies. She performed analytical studies of solid fuel, domestic water and had the opportunity to expand her knowledge in environmental protection and waste management area.
Justyna is a certified internal auditor of the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2015 and a plenipotentiary/internal auditor of the Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001.

Safety Assessor Trainee
Katarzyna Gajda
MSc, BSc in Chemical Technology
Katarzyna graduated with BSc in Chemical Technology at UST University in Cracow at the Faculty of Materials Engineering and Ceramics. The subject of thesis was manufacturing glass-ceramic materials based on barium, gallium and germanium oxides doped with erbium oxide and verifying their ability to use as optical fibres. Her thesis included examination of the surface and structure of the manufactured materials using techniques XRD, Infrared spectroscopy – IR and differential thermal analysis- DTA. Now Katarzyna obtained MSc in Chemical Technology, speciality: Analytics and Quality Control. In study she was searching for more environmental friendly substitutes of electrodes containing mercury for determination of traces of the palladium(II) and uranium(VI) with technique adsorptive stripping voltammetry. In thesis carbon electrodes modified with zeolite and carbon materials- graphite, conductive carbon black, multi walled carbon nanotubes and mesoporous carbon were tested.
Katarzyna participated in a student scientific association working on a project to produce biodegradable milk packaging.
Katarzyna joined our team as a technical and regulatory data trainee. She is currently involved in the safety assessment of chemicals and cosmetic products.

Technical and Regulatory Data Entry Specialist Trainee
Dominika Łatka
BSc Chemical Engineering
Dominika joined our team in April this year. She obtained a bachelor (BSc. Eng.) degree from AGH University of Science and Technology in the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics (Cracow, Poland).
Her engineering thesis regarded History and present time of cosmetics derived from natural mineral resources. Dominika analyzed minerals used in cosmetics and personal care products, including their chemical, structural and physicals characteristics, the use of natural cosmetics throughout the decades since ancient times and the latest trends in the beauty industry. Moreover the theoretical part included current legal regulations and requirements concerning raw materials, as well as final cosmetic products.
The aim of the experimental part was to obtain the qualitative and quantitative composition of a few selected natural mineral raw materials. To reach this goal, X-Ray Diffraction analysis (XRD) and X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy (XRF) were conducted. The results received in the laboratory of Department of Ceramics and Refractories enabled to initially assess whether the test materials are safe for use in the cosmetic products.
As for her student internship, Dominika chose wastewater treatment plants design and construction company. This workplace experience was an opportunity to learn about complex solutions in the field of wastewater treatment plants and gain knowledge about Membrane Biological Reactor (MBR) technology combined with RTC (Real Time Control) nitrification and denitrification.
Dominika is a certified internal auditor of Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2015.
